Who are we?
Townhouse Ramen was a passion project we started in early 2019 in Wellington, New Zealand. We started out as a home restaurant where we’d invite strangers into our townhouse flat (hence the name!), shortly after that our popularity grew and we had to expand out into pop-ups.
For the next 5 or so years we did pop-ups around Wellington, usually at local bars and cafes. On our 5 year anniversary we decided to stop doing pop-ups and since then we’ve wanted to put our recipes onto a platform so anyone could replicate our ramen at home.
And here we are in Substack!
We’ll be aiming to post a new recipe monthly and a few spin-off variations in between.
